Diversity Enriching

Taana Baana, an initiative by Lakshmipat Singhania Academy under the aegis of the JK Organization, is a vibrant textile and handicraft exhibition celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. This event provided a platform for local artisans to showcase their exquisite handmade crafts, including sarees, dupattas, shawls, handbags, paper quilling figurines, sustainable jewellery, and intricate woodwork.

Why This Exhibition?

In a world growing increasingly homogenized, Taana Baana sought to highlight the diversity and richness of Indian craftsmanship. The event aligned seamlessly with our values of fostering creativity and unity.

- Diversity Enriching:

By showcasing a wide array of crafts from across the country, the exhibition celebrated India’s vast cultural and artistic heritage, making it a melting pot of tradition and creativity.

- Empowering Local Artisans:

Small-scale artisans were provided with exposure and an opportunity to share their stories, sell their products, and connect with an appreciative audience. This not only supported their livelihood but also preserved the intangible heritage they represent.

- A Platform for Connection:

The event brought together students, parents, and teachers, fostering a sense of community through the shared admiration for India’s art and culture.
