Digital communication is integral to modern life, providing global connectivity and rapid information sharing. It encompasses various digital channels such as social media, email, and messaging apps, which have transformed communication.
Students were asked to make use of applications for digital communications across the world.
In this event, we all have grown together as a team and discovered many new skills. The main learning outcome was to see how our country is discovering and leading in the technology sector. The information we found out helped us in school projects and developed our general knowledge. The PowerPoint presentation helped improve our technical and collaborative skills. Overall, our grasp on technology strengthened and we found many new collaborative sites that can help us in the future.
Students learned about digital communication which is the ability to effectively communicate through various digital channels, understanding the nuances of different platforms, crafting targeted messages for specific audiences, while adhering to ethical digital practices and demonstrating awareness of potential issues like misinformation and privacy concerns; this includes skills like selecting appropriate digital tools, managing online presence, collaborating virtually, and analysing digital data to inform communication strategies.
The growing number of internet users and online shoppers has fuelled the expansion of e-commerce platforms, driving retail sector growth. Digital payments platforms, mobile banking, and other fintech applications are transforming the financial sector, making it more accessible and efficient. The rise of e-commerce giants like Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal has reshaped the retail landscape in India.
