Grow your own Veggies

Students of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy Eco Club grew Methi (Fenugreek) and Dhania (Coriander) in the kitchen garden of the school. It took them 4-5 weeks to prepare the soil and sprinkle the seeds of Methi. The seeds were then gently watered for 4-5 weeks till the plants were ready for harvesting. Coriander leaves were also grown in small perforated baskets, with a harvest period of 6 weeks. The harvested Methi and Dhania were subsequently sold by the students to the teachers and office staff members of the school. The amount raised will be further used for social service.
