Jewellery Making

Our Project was inspired by our curiosity in artistry and precision involved in jewellery making. We wanted to explore how intricate designs are brought to life, starting from raw materials and to showcase the skill and Craftsmanship behind this timeless art form. Aligning with the theme "Create and Unite", the project aimed to celebrate creativity while connecting viewers to the rich tradition of jewellery making.The journey was not faced without its challenges. Coordinating with artisans and gaining access to workshops required significant effort and time. Technical challenges such as lighting, camera angles, and sound quality during filming also required Problem-solving and adaptability. The major areas we explored as a team were Artisan Techniques by observing and documenting the traditional and modern methods of jewellery making. We learned how to present a narrative that combines education and entertainment, explore the nuances of cinematography, sound design and editing to create a polished final product. This project held a cultural significance as well by gaining insights into the cultural and emotional value of handcrafted jewellery in the society. This project was not only a journey into the art of jewellery making but also a rewarding experience that fostered creativity and a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship. It strengthened my skills and united me with a community of passionate artisans who bring beauty and meaning into their work.
