The video was made by my parents and me, to teach me about the importance of money and the financial values.
It was fun and an eye-opening experience! It all started when, I wanted to buy lots of things, which I didn’t need at that very moment.
So, my parents decided to teach me something important. They explained me the difference between needs and wants in a way, I could easily understand. Then, they took me to a sweet shop and a stationery shop to show me how to choose wisely. They also taught me about saving money for future and how small savings can add up to big things. By the end of this activity, I promised myself to start saving in my piggy bank and understood why it’s important to think wisely before spending. It was a lesson learnt for life which I’ll never forget!

I went to the nearby “SHISHU MART” along with my mother to buy some stationery and other items. There, I saw some sharpeners and chose 2-3 of them, from which we would select the final one for purchase. I liked an electric sharpener that was very expensive, but then my mother helped me understand the value of money, and we selected another good sharpener instead.
