HELP AGE INDIA
Based on the previous year’s HelpAge India master form of money collection, students drew different denominations of notes and coins of the amount they collected from their neighbour's, friends and relatives.
They were then segregated in groups wherein they imagined themselves as the head of the organisation and drew how they will spend the amount collected to meet the basic requirements / needs of the elderly.
Through this activity students learnt about the different denominations and addition of money. The children learnt to help and spend time with elderly people and they also became aware of the economics of money and how to spend it wisely.
