TOPIC: Understanding the Value of Money

  • By Kiana Arora (Class 1) - I would like to thank my class teacher Ms. Tikshana Chopra for giving me the opportunity to visit at retail store - Spencer’s Retail Ltd. to learn the experience of shopping at a retail store. My experience of retail store shopping was supported by my parents and I would like to thank the store manager and staff members of Spencer South City store for making my shopping a meaningful learning on products and different section at retail store. My shopping experience gave my insight on healthy foods and different sections of products kept together in an organized manner under one roof. Additionally, I enjoyed and learnt the process of billing to be done for buying the products. This visit has helped me in developing confidence, disciplined and patience at social places.

We chose this venue as it offered both toys and storybooks conveniently under one roof, making our task much easier. A special thanks to the shopkeepers, whose cooperation and guidance were invaluable. They not only assisted us in finding the right section of the store but also ensured that we had a quiet and disturbance-free space to make our video. Their support greatly contributed to the smooth execution of our work. We truly appreciate their hospitality and assistance.

TOPIC : Wealth from waste

  • Aanya Gangwal (4 Asters) - I am very thankful to be given this opportunity to participate in CyberFair 2025 themed “Wealth from Waste”. It gave me a sense of creativity, accomplishment and environmental awareness. I learned the value of reusing waste and how to convert it into wealth. This activity helped me to judge how best we can utilise our day-to-day waste and convert them into meaningful things and also the value of money as to how best we should spend it.

  • Vyom Singhal, (4 Asters) - I am truly grateful to my school and teachers for giving me the opportunity to participate in CyberFair 2025 on the theme "Wealth from Waste." It was a valuable learning experience that opened my eyes to how waste can be transformed into useful products. Through this, I not only learned creative ways to repurpose waste but also gained a better understanding of how money is used for making smart purchases. This experience has helped me become more resourceful and aware of how small actions can make a big difference. I appreciate this opportunity, as it has helped me develop new skills, think more creatively by helping me find value in waste, and make better decisions in daily life.
